2025 Shakespeare in the Garden
Dear friends of Santa Fe Classic Theater,
We are extremely disappointed to announce that our contract with the Santa Fe Botanical Garden to produce the beloved event, Shakespeare in the Garden, will not be renewed for 2025.
From Romeo & Juliet in 2019 to Twelfth Night in 2024, we have been honored to bring these classic stories to life to more than 8,000 ticket holders over the last five years.
This announcement, however, does not mean the end for Santa Fe Classic Theater. Last weekend we saw sold out performances of our first table read series, Off the Page. Our winter production of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? opens March 13, directed by Clare Davidson. Our talented production teams are discussing any and all opportunities to bring the works of William Shakespeare to life later this year.
We are grateful to each and every one of you for your continued patronage and support.
Sincerely,
Kelly Kiernan, President
Board of Directors
